How Narendra Modi failed Gujarat:

I'm not an economist, I'm not a politician, but I know how the game is played. I see and I observe.

Thank you for reading that Haiku, if you did. So, I'm a normal person, 20. Here's the problem with my generation, the one before me and the one after me. It is that they are sheep, hardly any of them educate themselves before voting.

Problem with youth is, their political views are highly inspired by political views of their parents. I was one of them too, then I started reading. I read and discovered that my parents weren't all correct. But, not many do that. Voting with youth is another show off, they wanna vote so they can snap a picture and put it on facebook and instagram to show off. Or they are deluded that if they "can't" do anything big, at least by voting they can play a little part. True, but it depends who you are voting and youth is easy to manipulate.

I think Narendra Modi is not a good leader, he's a good showman for sure. But, a leader, no.

Here's why he failed Gujarat and people still think he's good. All what's expressed in this post is in layman's terms (and I don't support congress either). While Modi speaks too much (crap), congress speaks very less and works slow. The arguments I put forward are not rich with statistics for the layman to not understand, they are based on utter common sense, if you choose to use it.

So, in Gujarat, votes can be manipulated easily, one way is on the religious ground. You might think it's not the issue now, but it is. Hindus and Muslims are separated by politicians and their lickspittles in a manner that if you pick a Muslim and a Hindu, you might think they are from different countries and not from the same city. Why is that? Well, people hold too many grudges, grudges based on utter hatred. Some are mad that Moguls invaded India, while they are not even remotely connected to either Rajputs or Moguls, some hate just for the sake of hatred, no reason at all, blindly.

But, what is the root of this hatred? Well, polarization. There's an invisible yet visible body of people (RSS, and some other fanatic businessmen.) that keep small folk from blending in. Hindus don't live with Muslims and vice versa. Why so? 'cause politicians make sure that doesn't happen.

Muslims are reckless and bland and annoying to some extent, I know 'cause I live amongst them. Hindus are, well the rich class is hard to find on the road, the middle class and below that are, well, reckless and bland and annoying. None of them follow traffic rules or care for the nation much. In a manner they are the same (very Indian, very Gujarati), but they point a finger at each other, instead of correcting themselves. And that's what Politicians want. They manipulate builders in a way that Muslims are limited to live in a certain area, they make sure Hindu population doesn't lives near the Muslim population 'cause if they start living together, they will learn to co-exist. They will learn to compromise their wrongs, they'll start to care about their neighbors and in some time, they'll get over the hatred. But, that's not happening 'cause of the polarization forced by politicians.

Development means diversity, if you're gonna polarize people on the name of religion, how can you be considered an ample leader? You are crushing diversity. Now, here someone will say that Modi includes Muslims with himself as well. Again, I'll tell you it's a murmur's farce all over again. So, here's one reason: He's a threat to diversity and development that diversity brings.

Now, let's talk some business, really business. Gujarat has the most expensive electricity in India. Well, that shouldn't happen, 'cause we have many rivers for hydro-electricity (i.e. Narmada Dam, The biggest project in India), we even have a dessert that can be used for solar energy, we don't even lack on nuclear energy either, we have a Nuclear power-plant as well. All this suggests that if they manager everything properly, we should get electricity everywhere in Gujarat for cheap and in fact we ccould have even sold it to another states and earn a good income for the state. But, do you see that happening? I don't.

What does that suggests? Modi and his puppies aren't really doing anything on that issue. They wanna take credit when corporation does something, but when they are blamed for not doing what they were supposed to do, they blame the corporations and central government and there's always corruption. i.e. Torrent Electricity.

Then there's gas. BJP says that Petrol, Diesel and CNG are expensive in Gujarat 'cause central government won't lower the prices. Here's a catch. Central government is selling fuel at the same rate in other states as well, which is expensive. Yet, there's a vast difference in prices. Why? 'cause the states ruled by congress don't charge VAT on fuel, meaning they can keep the fuel prices expensive yet the normal people get it for cheap. While in Gujarat, government doesn't wants to cut on the VAT. They don't wanna manage anything, just blame. I don't say Central government shouldn't lower the prices, THEY SHOULD. But, in states ruled by them they are at least managing to adjust prices for normal people, that's not happening in Gujarat.

Then, Modi is famous amongst farmers, just like America is famous amongst countries that discover oil-resources on their lands. I'm not sure if he knows, but you need land to farm, to produce food. He has given a lot of lands to Multinational companies for cheap, in return, people were promised employment. But, there's hardly any.

Biggest example will be Tata Nano plant. It was a dream, a car for just 1Lkh. It would have changed the scenario. Ratan Tata failed in his first attempt, but then he shifted to Gujarat. Modi gave him a butt load of land to set up the factory for really cheap, in return we were promised employment and Nano.

Turns out, the factory is fully automatized, that means only room for 3000 workers, while Ahmedabad alone has around 4 Million of population. Let's cut out the eligible people to work at a production unit, I believe there's a huge amount of Engineers, looking at the rate Engineering schools have been thriving, and common labor is widely available. You can say at least, 500,000 people would interested in production based jobs, but Tata offers just 3000, If you have a calculator, do the math.

Also, we never got Nano, Ratan Tata admitted it was a folly, and now the plant makes other things, and here's a plot twist. They make some Nanos, and all Nanos (and some other products by Tata) are subsidized by Gujarat Government with the tax payers' money. So, we pay taxes, Tata gets a handsome amount (let's say 40-60K) to make a car worth 100K, and they charge people around 1.20K. If you are a CEO at Tata, you must be bathing in 1000 rupee bills, aye?

But, come on that was just one project, you can't blame Modi cause Tata fucked up. Well, well. There's Maruti, Tata and many other companies that have made it to Gujarat, Modi gave them lands for cheap and employment they are generating is not so much. Here's the best part, Tata and Maruti might be Indian, they pay tax to India. But, Modi invited a lot of foreign countries, (he loves bragging about it), who manufacture  here, sell somewhere else and pay high taxes to their own countries. Voila!

So, he claims that he has made Gujarat a favorable spot for foreign investors and other multinational corporations. Yes, that's true, but why is Gujarat favorable? 'cause you get land for cheap, might even get subsidized and you don't really have to provide employment to many locals. Also, if you are not from India, you are not even paying much taxes to Indian government, you can manufacture things here for very cheap, sell them at a great cost anywhere in the world and get rich. Call Narendra Modi for more such devious details.

That's supposed to be a good thing SOMEHOW, under all those shortcomings, it might be good somehow. But, the problem starts when the World market crashes. Then multinational companies take their investments back, meaning they say sayonara to your state and go back to their countries.

In other words, you build a foundation on investments of foreigners, and when market slaps investors, they take their money from your state back, to mend their boat, and with the foundation gone, your building comes crumbling down.

And if someone tells me Modi started 108 emergency ambulance service, I'm gonna take another motherfucker who says the same and will hit the first motherfucker who said so with the second motherfucker. 108 was envisioned by Rajiv Gandhi and is funded by Central government, even if Congress goes out of power, it still will be funded by Central government.

If you're gonna tell me that Modi built roads, well, that's not his doing, that's something corporation is supposed to do. Corporation builds roads and gives you sewage pipes and what not. But, Modi and his bros are fucking that work system as well. You know, the ruling government of any state can manipulate the corporation. BJP manipulates them and prevents them from doing their work until there's election around the corner. If he had managed things right, we would have got good roads on time and not before the election. Well every other party does that and it doesn't makes this any right.

He fakes figures, he shows off things he hasn't done, he blames others when you point out his wrongs, instead of improving oneself, he'd point out other people's mistakes so your focus is gone. If you want a leader like that you must be damaged.

Rome wasn't built in a day, you cannot improve a state in a matter of days, but Modi has been ruling for 3 terms, that's almost 12 (2-3 more to go) years of work time and he couldn't even get his shit together, how can you expect he's gonna turn the tables in 5 years of PM term, for 28 states and 7 union territories, while 1 state and 12 years was hard for him.

Here's the problem with congress. They are politicians too. They won't help you until the elections are close by. If you go through their economical strategies and plans, you'd see that there's a lot of scope for them. But, they are so much entangled by politics, they wanna stay in power and all that, so they open up their cards very slowly, while any political party is supposed to improve the country/state ASAP. Food bill and RTI are tremendous, but they could have brought that ages ago and done a lot good to people, but again, bloody politics. Also, they happen to have corrupted members too, you'd be a fool to think they don't. Corruption and politics is the root of most evils and Modi has both traits.

All what Manmohan Singh admitted in his latest press conference speech applies to Modi too, but Modi just won't accept it.

All the arguments here are to enlighten some people. Instead of voting BJP 'cause you hate Muslims and your parents support BJP, instead of voting Congress 'cause your parents support them, or voting AAP 'cause all your friends are, educate yourselves. READ. Read about what the parties are doing, did and planning to do, how they are gonna do.

Enlightenment lead us to where we are, if we had not educated ourselves, we'd still be stuck in the dark ages. Youth shouldn't be stupid like the generation before us, ask the crap out of governments, if they are not doing what they promised, gather up and call for reelection, if the new one fails too, speak up against them too, take them down too until they get their shit together. Take an example from Egypt.

Educate yourself before pressing that button like a sheep.

1st January, 2014.
It's the new year, world's a huge party. Everyone forgot what happened last month. On 7th of December, Sun released a minor solar flare, nothing to be alarmed about, but everything to be alarmed about. The flare hit the planet and there was a blackout for a few seconds through out the earth. I stumbled upon the news and discovered the solar flare hit the nuclear reactors hard, especially the one's in Africa.

NUR reactor in Algeria got the worst of it when the flares reacted with nuclear material, even down below, something went wrong. The radiation turned out to be too much to handle for the people around. UN has sealed off the site and 50 kilometer of radius too, reasons unknown. What's more annoying is that, no one wants the news to go out, may be it's a meltdown going on in there, may be something else. Journalists aren't allowed anywhere near the perimeter sealed of with a giant dome of some metal. UN heads don't wanna talk about it.

It bugs me, but there's something about it that's not right. Or may be I was just thinking too much, or that's what I thought until I came across something last week. The UN soldiers who went in never returned, may be they are dead, or so was it considered. Until General Barryman Olsen came out walking. He bit his fellow soldiers and they started acting weird, it seemed something like rabies. General and his victims were acting like, may be zombies? Whatever it may be but the situation was taken care of when the infected people were Euthanised and the site of NUR reactor was "taken care of."

A Problem averted. Until they figured out, Doel Nuclear Power Station in Belgium was acting the same way but the problem had gone out of hands, the whole facility got infected and same is going on around 60 nuclear facilities. May be it's a Zombie outbreak, I just hope it doesn't turns out to be like The Walking dead or Resident Evil. That'd mean an end to everything, I'm not done living, I don't wanna lose my girlfriend, my crush since past 3 years, we're madly in love, so if some mad scientist is reading this, take care of it.

One and Ten

Finally, it's here.

Ten

BJP wants Ajaz Khan, Salman Khan and Head(s) of Colors TV to apologize, 'cause Ajaz Khan called Modi a "Chor." So, now in a country where one of the basic rights is Freedom of speech, one can't even speak their opinion?

I particularly have no love for Ajaz Khan, I'm not his fan neither a hater, and I'm not a huge fan of politics either. But, Political parties need to understand that it's democracy, and you have no right to poke your fingers up other people's nose. Remember when Shiv Sena thundered on some teen girl who spoke her will against Mumbai bandh while Bal Thakere's funeral? How did that turn out to be.

Thing is, if you have a right to call Rahul Gandhi "Shahzada," or Congress party anything, then common folk have a right to speak their mind too, it's one of the basic rights in our constitution and also Human rights.

Ajaz Khan wasn't right though, not only Modi, but there's whole BJP, then there's whole Congress and many many more who all fit the criteria of the word, if you know what I mean. Now, I'm gonna end this post before I'm asked to apologize.

In that case, I openly apologize for calling every politician in India a chor. Warm regards.
